Our accounting services include complete and up-to-date reports, vendor and banking relationship, property tax appeals, property insurance procurement, along with cash management and optimizing return for reserve accounts. We use a web-based accounting software that provides the tools necessary for real time reports and information. Clients have the option to view this information on-line at any time. We have partnered with a nationally recognized professional employer organization to manage human resource functions as well as payroll for all personnel. As a result, Legacy employees enjoy a wide range of human resource administrative benefits, insurance benefits, and employee benefits.

Each of our Compliance Specialists is knowledgeable in Tax Credit, HUD, RD and tandem communities to ensure consistency throughout our portfolio. Special needs set-asides and HOME program regulations and requirements are met. Income limits and utility allowances are monitored for changes. The Compliance Department prepares and submits annual reports to funders and owners.

In addition to the programs listed above the compliance department works with Assisted Living communities with RD or Tax Credit funding.

Our team of Compliance Specialists are certified in HUD, Rural Development and Tax Credit programs. We work closely with owners, funders and site staff to review and qualify each new resident to make sure the property remains in compliance with program regulations. Additionally, each household receives an annual compliance review.
